On July 25 the minister of finance of the Artsakh Republic conducted a meeting with the workers of “Procurement support centre” State Non-Profit Organization.
In the course of the meeting the head of “Procurement support centre” State Non-Profit Organization Levon Voskanyan and heads of other departments presented the results of work done during first half year of 2018. Then the problems and tasks of the state procurement were discussed.
Emphasizing the importance of state procurement role in economics the minister noted that there is much to do in the improvement of efficiency of purchase process: ”It is not a secret that there are many tasks in state procurement system, the reason of which is not effective organization of the process of purchases and often incorrect usage of legal acts. For this purpose in the nearest future we plan to make fundamental changes, including electronic procedures of organization of purchases, which will give us an opportunity to have a more transparent and available system. Besides for revelation of existing problems monitoring system will be put into usage, which will increase the effectiveness of system.”-mentioned the minister in his speech instructing responsible persons to fulfil works for ensuring people with admission for necessary information on purchase process by means of different information sources.
Responsible persons were also instructed to present proposals on increase of effectiveness of process.
