99 taxpayers in Artsakh Republic have gained legitimate taxpayer status.
The Minister of Finance of Artsakh Republic issued certificates to taxpayers meeting the standards of taxpayers.
On December 25, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Artsakh Artur Harutyunyan awarded certificates to 99 taxpayers, who correspond to the status of "legitimate taxpayer". Expressing gratitude to those present for being a law-abiding partner, Artur Harutyunyan mentioned that this initiative was organized for the second time, the goal of which is to develop and strengthen the culture of taxpayers' self-calculation and payment. “It is gratifying that in comparison with the previous year more taxpayers have been included in the ranks of legitimate taxpayers. Also, it is good that most of you have been steadfastly maintaining their place in these ranks” Artur Harutyunyan stressed in his speech, expressing hope that more taxpayers will be included in these lists every year and as the result, we will only have legitimate taxpayers in the whole Republic. The minister also touched upon the upcoming innovations in 2019. In particular, the system of taxpayer liabilities registration, electronic billing system and a number of other reforms will be introduced next year. At the end of the meeting Artur Harutyunyan congratulated those present on the occasion of the New Year holidays and wished that 2019 would be a year of peace and economic growth.
