A working group meeting on implementation pension reforms was organized
In the Republic of Artsakh in 2019 it is envisaged to introduce a cumulative pension system starting from July 1. In order to implement the pension reform systemally, a working group was formed with the involvement of responsible officials from different departments. A meeting was held on April 2 to plan the work to be carried out by the group headed by the head of the group, the Minister of Finance Arthur Harutyunyan, during which the plan-schedule of the "Measures for the introduction of the mandatory funded pension system" was presented and approved. «The schedule includes measures to be implemented in four main directions: legislative, technical, organizational and public awareness, set deadlines for fulfillment and responsible agencies.The launch of the events will take place right now. It is necessary to approach the implementation of this reform program with high responsibility. In case of problems arising during the planned activities, the working group sessions will be convened extraordinary, with the aim of solving them.»-Arthur Harutyunyan stressed in his speech highlighting the daily contacts between the members of group. The minister also informed that a working group has been formed in the Republic of Armenia to assist in the work and meetings are planned to be held in the near future to clarify the range of issues.
