For the first half year of 2019 the sum of the inventory imported to the territory of the Republic of Artsakh accounted for 67.5 milliard dram, which went beyond the last year’s index by 8.4 milliard dram or by 14.2 percent. The sum of inventory exported from the territory of Artsakh for the same period was 52.5 milliard dram, against 52.0 miliard drams in the same period last year. For June, 2019 the sum of the inventory imported to the territory of the Republic of Artsakh accounted for 12.3 milliard dram and the inventory exported from the territory of the RA accounted for 9.3 milliard dram, while the index of imported inventory for the same period of the last year accounted for 10.7 milliard dram and the index of exported inventory 10.6 milliard dram.
The dominant part of export and import was carried out on Vardenis-Martakert and Goris-Stepanakert highways. Particularly, according to the data of checkpoints of these highways, in the first half of 2019, imports from Vardenis-Martakert highway has made 64.1% of total imports, 35.1% for Goris-Stepanakert, and exports has made 90% and 7.8% of total exports, respectively.
