On October 31 plenary sitting of the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic, Minister of Finance Arthur Harutyunyan has presented the draft laws “On Amendments to the Law on Property Tax” and “On Changes and Amendments to the Law on Land Tax”, which establish privileges on property tax and land tax for the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
In particular, the package of laws plans to exempt non-monumental churches, buildings and structures used for the production and sale of religious, cultural, educational, church and ritual objects owned by the Artsakh diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church from property tax and land tax necessary for their maintenance, as well as exemption from property tax and land tax accrued until January 1, 2019.
Parliament passed bills: 30 deputies voted in favor.
