124 taxpayers in Artsakh Republic have gained legitimate taxpayer status. The Minister of Finance of Artsakh Republic issued certificates to taxpayers meeting the standards of taxpayers.
Today, the Minister of Finance of the Artsakh Republic Artur Harutyunyan awarded certificates to 124 taxpayers, who correspond to the status of "Legitimate taxpayer". Expressing gratitude to those present for being a law-abiding partner, Artur Harutyunyan noted that these year-end meetings have become traditional, aiming to encourage all taxpayers who have fulfilled their obligations to the state budget throughout the year. "Due to the conscientious work of taxpayers and the tax authority today, we have been able to carry out the planned tasks ensuring the implementation of social, educational, health and other programs financed by the state budget," the minister said in his speech, adding that in comparison with the previous year more taxpayers have been included in the ranks of legitimate taxpayers. The Minister also referred to the innovations implemented in the electronic management system in 2019. In particular, the electronic system of tax invoices and the system of automatic accounting of tax liabilities have been introduced, the scope of the electronic reporting system of tax reports has been expanded, the e-taxpayer mobile application has been launched. In order to ensure the uniformity and unity of the services provided to taxpayers and to improve their quality, the standard of services provided to taxpayers has been approved. “All this is aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for business, as a result of which taxpayers will not spend resources on tax evasion. These resources will be directed to full and timely payment of taxes,” the minister emphasized. At the end of the meeting Artur Harutyunyan congratulated the participants on the New Year holidays and wished them warmth, health and new achievements.
