By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Artsakh N 372-A of May 18, 2020 in order to mitigate the economic repercussions of the coronavirus, economic entities a number of spheres of the private sector have been given the opportunity to apply to the State Revenue Committee for support.
Two measures were included in the decision. Provision of one-time grants aimed at maintaining effective jobs and one-time financial support aimed at ensuring the continuity of small entrepreneurship.
1645 economic entities submitted applications to the State Revenue Committee, 1447 of which met the requirements of the decision, and according to the established procedure, instructions were submitted to the treasury in the amount of 76718.2 thousand drams in order to transfer them to the latter.
1120 beneficiaries in the amount of 52223.9 thousand drams were included in the one-time monetary support program, and 327 in the amount of 24494.3 thousand drams in the one-time grant program. The applications of 198 economic entities were rejected due to non-compliance with the requirements of the decision.
According to the information base of the State Revenue Committee, 118 economic entities considered potential beneficiaries of the measures did not submit applications, due to which the state revenue committee submitted a proposal to the government to extend the deadline for submitting applications.
