On July 24, 2020, a delegation led by Chairman of SRC of the Republic of Armenia Edvard Hovhannisyan arrived in the Republic of Artsakh on a working visit.
Welcoming the Armenian colleagues, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Artsakh David Poghosyan noted the close cooperation between the two structures, which contributes to the efficiency of the work.
In his turn, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia Edvard Hovhannisyan thanked for the warm reception and reaffirmed the readiness of the committee to further expand the cooperation of the two departments in the near future.
A broad range of issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. In particular, the partners paid attention to the issues of remote training of personnel, the harmonization of the tax legislation of the two countries and the administration carried out by the tax authorities, the exchange of experience in the field of information technology in the conditions of the pandemia and a number of other issues.
The process of implementation of the measures envisaged by the 2018-2020 cooperation program of the tax authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh was also presented.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the systematic implementation of the discussed issues, including the start of preparatory work for the development of the 2021-2023 cooperation program.
