During 2021 1 billion 215 million AMD payed by employees and private entrepreneurs have been transferred from the Republic of Artsakh to Insurance foundation for servicemen according to the law “On the compensation of loss of life or health of servicemen suffered during the defence of the Republic of Artsakh, which is almost 3 times more than last year.”.
The increase in stamp duty receipts is due to a legislative change made since the beginning of last year, according to which stamp duty payments are calculated on a progressive scale instead of the previous 1,000 drams.
The Committee urges taxpayers to properly comply with their stamp duty obligations to ensure compensation for damage to the lives and health of servicemen.
